VDP. Wein- und Sektgut Barth
Mark Barth’s motto is: “I want wines and sparkling wines that make people happy! I strive for elegance and naturalness, fostered by slow and certified organic cultivation, which radiate inner calm in the wines and reflect our historic single vineyards in all their facets.” For Mark Barth, his profession is a matter of heart and family. His team works hand in hand, attentively guiding the wines with the utmost precision. Preserving the origin is the highest credo, which is why the potential of the natural vineyard yeasts is allowed to unfold in the barrel. The portfolio includes world-famous top sites, including Hallgartener Schützenhaus and Schönhell. A cultural heritage of the Rheingau is the Charta Riesling. Founded in 1983, the Rheingauer Winzer group merged with the VDP Rheingau in 1999. The goal of the twelve producing estates is to maintain the classic Rheingau Riesling, which is characterized by a dry, fruity, and elegant taste.
