Arbeit im Einklang mit der Natur
Leon Gold founded his winery in 2013 and decided to cultivate his 18 hectares of vineyards organically and biodynamically back in 2016. At home in the Remstal villages of Großheppach, Gundelsbach and Beutelsbach, his vines are rooted in gypsum keuper, Kisel sandstone and colored marl. Together with the respective orientation, altitude and slope inclination, this creates an unmistakable terroir, which enables Leon Gold to work out the individual style of each site and plot. His wines are inspired by nature, so no additives are used in the winemaking process. Selective hand-picking, spontaneous fermentation and minimal use of sulphur, in line with the motto "as little as possible - as much as necessary". This results in independent, characterful wines that represent their region in a very purist way.
