Located in the gently rolling hills of Bechtheim, Johannes and Christian Spiess cultivate 32 hectares of vines in the Rhine-Hessian Wonnegau region, which boasts a unique talc basin location with plenty of warmth and fertile loess loam and limestone soils. The brothers' guiding principle is respect for nature, as they focus on reduced yields, consistent grape selection and sustainability in the vineyard, so that there is as little intervention as possible during winemaking.
