Diana and Christian Steitz's winery is located in the far west of Rheinhessen, right on the border with the Nahe and Palatinate wine-growing regions. This beautiful landscape is characterized by a cool climate with moderate rainfall and significant differences between day and night temperatures. The high-altitude vineyards with this special microclimate produce exceptionally mineral and delicate top-quality wines with an unmistakable character. Here in Rheinhessen Switzerland, the terroir of the vineyards is defined by volcanic rock - more precisely by porphyry and andesite. Both rocks offer exciting potential for extremely mineral and delicate wines with a unique character. The winery's logo reflects the terroir.
