On his roughly 16 hectares of vineyards, he works in an environmentally friendly way, without insecticides or herbicides. His wines mature in temperature-stable cellar vaults, with extended contact on the lees. While classic Rheingau Rieslings are among his flagship wines, he constantly reshuffles the deck—because that’s part of his philosophy, part of his DNA.
