The cellars of the Ropiteau Frères winery, founded in Meursault in 1848, are among the most prestigious that can still be found in Burgundy's Golden Triangle. According to old Burgundian tradition, the wines are matured here in over 900 wooden barrels, which allows each parcel to be matured separately. Nicolas Burnez is responsible for the ageing of the wines. He works every day to ensure that the Ropiteau style remains what it has been for years: a sonorous and well-known name in Burgundy.
