Werkstück Weimar
The address of our wine is Weimarer Poetenweg, which refers to a 46-hectare hillside site located north-east of one of Germany's most culturally rich cities. With a mineral shell limestone soil and a high lime content, Weimarer Poetenweg is climatically located on an island of warmth in the Thuringian Basin, which means that the slope is spoiled with many sunny days. The character of the Weimar workpiece is precise and straightforward with a certain freshness that is accompanied by expressive fruit. Due to the special terroir inherent to the Poetenweg, the wines produced have a remarkable ageing potential. In this way, the spirit of the respective vintage can be preserved particularly well.
