High up in Bad Kreuznach on the beautiful Nahe River lie some vineyards of the Korrell Johanneshof winery. Even from a distance, the lettering on the vineyard wall can be identified. In the midst of this picturesque scenery of vines and terraced sites lies the family's vineyard house, where cozy tastings are held in a family setting.

Martin Korrell, the current owner and successful cellar master of the winery, concentrates on the on the essential things in life: working with classic grape varieties that show their balance with strong expression and great depth in a precise collection. His wines are described as »dynamic, coherent and profiled«, making the winery one of the top in the region. The company is also in a state of steady growth and is currently focused on converting to an organic operation.
Der Bad Kreuznacher Riesling »Paradies« ist dabei das Aushängeschild Korrells. Die gleichnamige Spitzenlage ist nämlich das Herzstück und der ganze Stolz der Familie. Die besondere Bodenbeschaffenheit aus Muschelkalk- und Tonmergel schafft ein elegantes und vielschichtiges Gewächs. Pfirsich, Aprikose, Zitronat und Limette sowie feine Mineralität wechseln sich mit dem für Riesling so typischen Schmelz ab. Zudem gewann dieser Wein den FEINSCHMECKER Riesling Cup 2020 und empfiehlt sich als sensationeller Essensbegleiter.
