Multifaceted Grüner Veltliner
Ollersdorf is a community surrounded by vineyards in Austria’s southern wine growing area. The Veit family has been involved in viticulture there for generations. Today Gerlinde and Günter Veit are responsible for running the approximately 12 ha estate. Its mostly sunny southern slopes, Pannonian microclimate and careful restriction on crop sizes go together to form the quality of the Veit family wines. Günter Veit pays particular attention to the Grüner Veltliner, both Grüner Veltliner DAC (meeting the strict requirements for “Districtus Austriae Controllatus”, Latin for Controlled District of Austria, status) and the wonderfully uncomplicated “Grüner Veltliner Veit-Liner”.
