Vina Real

Founded in 1920, Viña Real in Elciego looks back on over 100 years of history. Its 73 hectares of vineyards in Rioja Alavesa, with vines averaging 35 years old, lie along the historic Camino Real. After moving from Haro to Elciego in 1943, the modern winery in Laguardia opened in 2004, establishing Viña Real as a pioneer of the region. Under the leadership of winemaker Manuel Garralda, fresh, complex, and well-balanced wines are crafted, aging in French and American oak barrels to develop aromas of dark fruits, spices, and fine wood notes. Viña Real blends tradition with modern technology to achieve the highest quality.
