The Art of Rosé
Miraval is one of the best rosés in the world and an icon of Provence. It is the brainchild of Brad Pitt and the Perrin family, who have dedicated themselves to the art of rosé wine. The focus is on the special terroir in the south of France, the unique quality of the wines and the uniqueness and splendor of Château Miraval. The 500-hectare vineyard is located in the heart of Provence. It is one of the few wine estates there that has its own valley in the Correns area to the north of Brignoles. To the east, the vineyards extend across the Côtes de Provence appellation, which produces the wines with cult status. A glass of Miraval is the perfect choice for those certain moments of light-heartedness that emphasize the beauty and sensuality of life. Studio by Miraval introduces you to the world of Miraval, paying homage to the elegant French Riviera, popular with musicians, painters and film stars. Studio presents wines from the south-east coast of France: from vineyards surrounded by olive trees and pines, nourished by saline soils and covered by the morning coastal mist of the Mediterranean. These Mediterranean influences give the wines their fresh maritime character, a certain saltiness and clear color. The name of the wine, Studio by Miraval, was not chosen by chance. In 1977, the then owner and jazz musician Jacques Loussier set up a recording studio in Château Miraval, where world stars such as The Cure and The Cranberries have recorded their music.
