The small Jankara winery is located not far from the beautiful beaches of the Costa Smeralda in the highlands of Gallura. It was founded by Renato Spanu and his wife Angela. Having grown up in the region, they are realizing their dream of creating wines of the highest quality from the soils of their ancestors and their vineyards provide the perfect conditions for this: They are characterized by granite soils, ideal for soil drainage and the complex minerality of the wines.A special microclimate leads to significant temperature fluctuations between day and night - Optimal for Renato's favourite among the grape varieties, the Vermentino.
