25 years after the introduction of high quality single variety wines in the Languedoc by the pioneering Robert Skalli, the Boisset family from Burgundy is writing the next chapter in the story. After the estate was taken over by Robert Skalli in 2012 the current owners conducted extensive surveys of the site, soil and climate of the vineyards belonging to the estate. This led to a reclassification of the wine lines by origin and quality. The grapes from each vineyard plot are grown and processed separately. The finished wines express their origin. Robert Skalli remains devoted to monovarietal wine. Joie de vivre – vivacity – Languedoc: Every one of these beautifully designed bottles of Fortant de France is an ambassador for its origin in the South of France. Their captivating contents fill the palate with the nearby sea’s vastness and the warmth of the southern French summer. The characteristic spicy aromas of the Macchia and the tang of the sea breeze ensure top class taste experiences. These wines have real character thanks to their monovarietal structure and classification by origin and quality. Craftsmanship and design, tradition and modernity meet to make these wines what they are: wine that exudes joie de vivre and expresses vivacity and esprit.
