In the context of Bordeaux, the term "Bordeaux blends" is often used. These are first-class cuvées carefully crafted with great precision. Primarily, the internationally renowned grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc are used. The mosaic of soil types combined with the varying climatic conditions of the Bordeaux region, as well as the aging period in 225-liter barrique barrels, significantly contribute to the uniqueness of these cuvées.
