Bodegas Barahonda
Bodegas Barahonda is now run by the fourth generation of the family, Antonio and Alfredo Candela Póveda. The autochthonous Monastrell grape variety forms the backbone of the estate's wines, complemented by international grapes such as the well-adapted Syrah. The bodega cultivates vineyards in the Yecla region, in the dry south-east of the country. Due to the climatic conditions, Yecla offers the best opportunities for sustainable cultivation and thus an environmentally friendly approach to nature.
