Liveliness and excellence of the Collio
Attems extends over 44 hectares and lies to the west of the town of Görz. Its vineyards are surrounded by intact forests that are particularly rich in biodiversity. The different types of soil are a valuable resource: the soil from the Collio area, called Ponca, consists of sandstone and marl. Its composition dates back millions of years and is of marine origin. The soil along the Isonzo river, on the other hand, is sandy and pebbly. The Classici line embodies the freshness and brilliant elegance of Friuli and reflects the harmonious interpretation of the region with varietal wines. The Collio line reflects the quintessence of the winery. Wines such as Trebes and Cicinis represent the highest quality of the estate. They stand for elegant wines with a strong character that express the uniqueness of the Ribolla Gialla and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties and the Collio terroir at the highest level.
