Expertise & Awards from Tuscany
Tenuta Sette Ponti is located in the heart of the beautiful Chianti area, near the city of Arezzo. The first Tenuta vineyard was planted in 1935 by the Royal Highness Vittorio Emanuele Conte di Torino. More than 50 years ago Alberto Moretti Cuseri took over the estate, which is still owned by the family today. In the 1990's Alberto's son Antonio joined the estate and, together with the top oenologists at his side, made it one of the best producers in Tuscany. 330 hectares of Tenuta Sette Ponti, of which more than 50 hectares are planted with vines. Here grow the grapes from which Antonio created the "Crognolo" from the Sangiovese grape variety in 1998 and only one year later the cult wine "Oreno Rosso di Toscana", a cuvée from the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties.
